We are looking for a talented Semiconductor Process Engineer to join our Process Engineering team to handle the daily operations of our semiconductor III-V wafer processing cleanroom, specifically with photolithography and dielectrics processes. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers developing state-of-the-art, next generation military and industrial imaging systems. Thinking outside the box, generating new ideas, and being an effective team player is essential for success in this role. The induvial will be responsible for the daily operations of a world class wafer processing and packaging facility.
What You Will Do
Sustaining wafer manufacturing processes by providing technical expertise in photolithography and dielectrics technologies.
Utilize an understanding of photoresist and coatings to develop and maintain semiconductor processing equipment and current manufacturing processes.
Determining root cause of failures using statistical methods and recommend modifications to production flows, and processing methods.
Utilize Lean Manufacturing techniques to reduce manufacturing costs and improve manufacturing yield.
Developing new advanced wafer fabrication methods for next generation products on photolithography tools such as stepper, mask aligners and track coating systems.
Qualifying new manufacturing equipment and new processes.
Collaborate with multiple cross functional teams to solve a wide array of technical problems.
Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and engineering procedures.
Conducting time studies of manufacturing processes.
This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Princeton, NJ.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years’ of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ of prior work experience.
Experience operating, calibrating, and developing recipes on manufacturing equipment.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or lean manufacturing methods.

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with wafer fab analytical tools such as SEM, FTIR, and profilometry.
Photolithography mask design experience.
Experience working in a team setting.
Metal deposition processes experience.

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
