Job description Are you a passionate and experienced SEN teacher looking for a rewarding new role? We have two teaching positions available at a high-needs SEN school in Kidderminster. The school supports children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), trauma, anxiety, sensory needs, behavioural challenges, and personal care requirements.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and flexible school environment. Due to the school's location, you must have access to a car, as there are no public transport links.
Job Options:
Temp-to-Perm - Start on a temporary basis with the option to transition into a permanent role.
Permanent Placement - Join the school as a permanent member of staff from day one.
Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Minimum of 6 months UK experience working as a teacher within SEN schools
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Experience planning and delivering lessons tailored to SEN students
Strong classroom management skills to create a structured and engaging learning environment
Experience supporting students with SEMH, trauma, anxiety, sensory needs, and behavioural challenges
Ability to provide personal care where necessary
Team-player mentality - able to collaborate with support staff and other teachers to create a nurturing learning environment
Please do not apply if you do not hold QTS and do not have a minimum of 6 months of experience working in SEN schools as a teacher.
