About Data & Customer Analytics (DCA) Data & Customer Analytics (DCA) team is building the data foundation infrastructure, core platform and services that drive Walmart US business. The objective of the DCA organization is to build the best in class engineering, analytics and data science solutions that power the best shopper experience for our customers, adhering to the Walmart philosophy - Everyday Low Cost. In addition to ushering in affordability, we also create personalized experiences for customers the omnichannel way, across all channels - in-store, on the mobile app and websites. The Analyst will play a crucial technical role in developing and maintaining scalable end-to-end data pipelines, build complex logic and help deliver outstanding business outcomes for problems across Walmart. What you'll do + A Senior Data Analyst is responsible for combining their analytical strength, logic building, consulting mind with product focus and business understanding to deliver for our business stakeholders and product leaders + Demonstrate strong thought-leadership and consult with product and business stakeholders to build, scale and deploy holistic analytics products after successful prototyping + Understand business processes, identify the correct data sources and validate the quality of the data sources, work with engineers to develop a high quality data product + Interface with business stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities, develop business acumen and cultivate stakeholder relationships + Explore data and perform data analysis to support business requirements + Analyse and visualize the business impact of data products; document analytical methodologies used in the execution of data products + Build dashboards to help deliver business insights + Participate in internal technical councils and represent the organization in forums that involve community of analytics professionals across industry and academia. + Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity What you'll bring + Bachelors or Master's Degree in Engineering , Computer Science, Statistics or management + 4+ years of hands on experience in data analytics + Experience in SQL or other query languages for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. + Excellent communication skills, including the ability to storyboard and present insights concisely. + Experience collaborating with multiple teams across time zones + Experience in Big Data applications + Good knowledge of standard descriptive statistical techniques + Experience in Python and R for building predictive and exploratory analytical models. + Ability to craft compelling storyboards with appropriate visual isations and hands-on experience in building and maintaining dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau + Proven track record of taking ownership of projects and collaborating with stakeholders and delivering analytics projects with measurable value About Walmart Global Tech + Imagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
