 Responsibilities:Determine best development solution for the MES templateCollaborates with team to develop, evaluate and document solution optionsCollaborates TIBCO and L2 counterparts to ensure integration points are accounted forProvides technical design recommendations ensuring scalability of the solutionEnsures adherence to organization, project standards and documentation standardsPromotes the application maintenance, project methodology and processes standards defined by ITCreates baseline documentation of currently enabled solution and keeps solution documentation up to date and currentActively supports the outsourcing partner when needed or requested by the Operations Support Lead.Provides input to the support model and structure and develops recommendations.Designs a thorough transition plan for activities to be owned by offshore team, supported by detailed documentation, training and with two-party signoff.Promotes open and frequent communication with offshore team to review incidents and maintenance activities.Challenges to expect:Responsible for developing code that supports different plants yet the solution needs to remain scalable and globalConducts and reviews coding solutions that are developed by external, offshore resourcesMES is the first custom built application that Global Applications will supportTemplate for rolling operations and finishing is in progress – this role will be key to managing the development solution and code base for these effortsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in IT or related fieldMinimum 3 years' experience in Angular 4.0Minimum 7 years' in C# and WebAPIMust have experience with Microsoft's Entity FrameworkStrong knowledge and usage of GIT and TFSMust thrive in a team oriented, highly collaborative workplaceExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust be able to prioritize across multiple projects and initiativesAbility to create Technical Specifications, Perform Technical TestingAble to work with functional resources to clarify questions about designs and solutionsMust be comfortable with providing direction and oversight to offshore resources.
