ValidaTek is seeking a dynamic Senior .Net Developer to lead software development for one of our Defense Customers. The ideal candidate will have technical experience developing software capability and leading modernization efforts. As the Senior .Net Developer you will perform requirements analysis; decompose requirements into features, user stories and tasks; perform custom development; deploy solutions to development, test and production environments utilizing various tools and remediate software bugs found in testing and production. Development to integrate with other software systems via APIs is also in scope for this role. 

Responsibilities Lead the development team in the design, implementation, and testing of software applicationsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutionsManage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environmentEnsure adherence to coding standards, software development best practices, and project timelinesCoordinate with other teams to integrate software components and manage dependenciesParticipate in code reviews, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiativesStay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance the team's capabilities and project outcomes Qualifications Must possess a DoD Secret clearance at minumumMust possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree, and at least 7 years' of software development experienceMinimum 5 years' of experience developing software applications using an Agile development frameworkExperience with a .NET-compatible language such as C#Proficiency in .NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, SQL, C#, Azure, Azure DevOps, Workflow, Networking, and FirewallsAbility to interact with customers to understand requirements and create solutionsAbility to manage complex infrastructure managed by different teamsExperience leading an agile team through development and testing of scientific applicationsProficiency in Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) or alternativesExperience with automated testingExperience with CI/CD pipelines
