Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to support the development and migration of an enterprise-critical application within a leading telecommunications company. This role will be heavily focused on backend development using .NET Core, with some frontend work involving JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue). The position also involves working with Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure, and SQL databases. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to engage with business stakeholders, BAs, and PMs in design discussions. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core * Implement and enhance AWS infrastructure, focusing on logging, security, and scalability * Contribute to the long-term migration of the application to AWS (experience with Azure is also acceptable) * Work with Kubernetes to optimize containerized application deployment and orchestration * Develop and maintain frontend components using JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue) * Manage SQL databases, ensuring performance and reliability * Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and participate in design sessions * Utilize GitLab/GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipeline management
