We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SQL Server C# SQL Angular JS Azure JavaScript and .Net Framework. Additionally, domain expertise in Airlines is mandatory. This role involves developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance our airline operations and customer experience.

Location : Seattle, WA (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver on project goals.

• Providing business solutions and architecture guidance to the development teams.

• Possess excellent software architecture design, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

• Optimize application performance, scalability and security

• Continuously improve development processes and workflows.

• Ensure all best practices, standards, coding principles and unit/automation test strategies are followed within the teams; ensure the code coverage, sonar violations are periodically reviewed.

Qualifications:

• FSE .Net lead with 8+ years of IT experience.

• Hands-on experience in creating complex .Net Miscroservices, .Net Core

• Build UI services - Angular or React

• Azure, Functions, App Services, Spring, Event architecture (Event grid, Event hub)

Salary and other compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 to $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
