Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior ATM Specialist
Location: Metro Manila, Philippines
About the role:
The Senior Access to Medicines (ATM) Specialist is responsible for creating awareness of the Specialty medicines portfolio of the company through educating Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) on Takeda’s Access to Medicines (ATM) products & support services and for ensuring the successful entry of Takeda in the Rare diseases category, working closely with the Access to Medicines Lead.
Responsible for key activities including: identifying local experts such as Medical Oncologists, Hematologists and Rare Disease specialists; disseminating information about the brand and Takeda’s access programs in a timely manner to all target HCPs involved in the patient flow; gathering of insights; delivery of brand and Patient Assistance Program presentation and; identifying opportunities for the brand and the expansion of Takeda’s access programs. In addition, this position must deliver relevant KPIs on the agreed programs & activities for execution, including product strategy planning & ensuring launch readiness in the therapy area of Rare Diseases.
In close collaboration with Medical Affairs, Alliance Management, Health Systems Liaison (HSL) and Ethics and Compliance Manager; he/she would be responsible for executing the value proposition of Takeda’s innovative life-changing treatment options and disseminating the value messages to relevant stakeholders.
How you will contribute:
Meet and engage with new & existing HCPs & KOLs (e.g. Medical Oncologists, Hematologists and Rare Disease Specialists), based on the approved profiling and segmentation list with the intent of:
1) Introducing Takeda’s ATM portfolio of products
2) Mapping & profiling of HCPs
3) Assessing the clinical, environment & patient treatment pathways
4) Identifying potential speakers
5) Discussing Takeda’s Patient Assistance Program & other related access programs
Working closely with the ATM Lead, serve as co-lead during the launch excellence workshops for Rare diseases and determines & executes insighting activities necessary as inputs to the strategic plan
Collect & communicate relevant HCP/KOL feedback to line manager and internal stakeholders (e.g. Medical, PV) in accordance with all local & regional guidelines
Identify & develop robust & long-term professional relationships with the healthcare community, particularly HCPs/KOLs in the fields of Oncology, Hematology, and Rare Diseases.
Provide & communicate clinical/ scientific data with the support and coordination with Medical Affairs
Provide fair and balanced information on the benefits & risks of products assigned to him/her
Foster collaboration & partnering between HCPs/KOLs and the company and determine potential partnerships for wider access to Takeda’s Rare disease products
Obtain feedback & advise about company products from HCPs/KOLs through one-on-one interactions, group discussions and/or formal researches
Provide support/coverage for the medical information of the company at professional association meetings
Support & assist in the efforts to identify and define medical educational needs of the HCPs
Initiate in the conduct of promotional activities for HCPs such as product presentations, focus group discussions, etc and develop campaign materials for rare diseases, in collaboration with the ATM Lead & Medical Affairs
Close collaboration with cross functional team
1) Co-create brand strategy and contribute to the elements needed to execute a comprehensive and resonating communication strategy to relevant target segments
2) Develop plans and contribute to preparations necessary for the successful entry of Takeda in the Rare diseases therapy area
3) Recommend KOL development in coordination with Medical Affairs team
4) Coordinate and give feedback to third party partners of Takeda’s access programs
Ensure compliance of all activities and secure necessary approvals; prepare contracts for the said activities and ensure completeness of documents post activity
What you bring to Takeda:
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any 4-year course
At least 3 years of ethical/pharmaceutical sales/marketing experience

Must work closely with ATM Lead and other cross functional team members
Familiar with Key Account Management business model
Good communication/presentation skills
Ability to convert complex scientific information into lay terms and effectively communicate such information to HCPs; scientifically competent to be able to read, interpret & sell from a clinical paper
