As a Senior Account Director, you will develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients in the region, acting as their primary point of contact. The Senior Account Director will report to the Senior Director of Sales, Canada, and will be responsible for independently managing a client portfolio of agencies and advertisers.
In this role you will:
Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact
Develop an excellent understanding of each customer’s business, technical set-up, and needs in order to create an end-to-end strategy to unlock new opportunities
Act as a strategic advisor to our clients, sharing industry trends, advancements, relevant insights, and best practices
Proactively monitor client performance data across an omnichannel portfolio to provide clients with recommendations and help them achieve their revenue goals
Lead strategic quarterly business reviews and implement work plans
Troubleshoot supply and deals monetization independently and with cross-functional teams, including operations, to resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Assist the leadership team in communicating the company’s value proposition to new clients and large strategic accounts
Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Magnite and promote our products and services
We’re looking for someone with:
6+ years experience in either an account management or sales role at a publisher/network/ DSP or 6+ years experience at an agency
Fluent in English required
A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience
In-depth knowledge of the Canadian digital landscape along with great comprehension of programmatic advertising and the ad tech ecosystem
Strong ability to manage every step of the sales process, including prospecting, conducting sales calls, proposal writing, negotiating, and closing sales
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and lead strategic initiatives with key stakeholders at all levels
Strong experience with tools such as Excel, Google Slides, Salesforce, and Tableau
A proven track record of driving revenue growth in managing multiple clients
Solution-oriented, quick learner, able to work independently and part of a team in a fast paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly
Ability to work in an in-office environment 3 days a week
Ability to travel 1 week per quarter or as needed
