The OpenText Information Exchange business is a leader in B2B solutions and powered by the world’s largest business network in the Cloud. Our Business Networks Solution Consulting team offers a set of solutions that facilitate efficient and secure exchange of information inside and outside of the organization, ranging from on-demand messaging and secure managed file transfer, to B2B integration and B2B applications. The world’s largest companies run in the OpenText Cloud that is supported 24/7 by our managed services team and enables 20 billion digital commerce transactions per year.

 

The Opportunity:

As the SMB Account Executive you are responsible for generating sales and driving revenue growth for OpenText products and services. You apply motivation, listening skills and a strong work ethic to cross sell our products to existing customers as well as new customers on license sales. Additionally, you will participate in partner-based and telephone-based outbound campaigns.

 

You are great at:

Qualify leads generated by account development teams and marketing campaigns

 

•            Execute outbound telephone-based campaigns

 

•            Convert leads into sales opportunities and close new business against an assigned quota

 

•            Answer inbound sales calls and make outbound calls to a variety of prospects

 

•            Develop quotations and respond to RFIs/RFPs

 

•            Coordinate and present online demonstrations of OpenText products and services

 

•            Nurture warm leads until the point of readiness for entry into the sales cycle

 

•            Coordinate with OpenText colleagues to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service

 

•            Track leads and manage pipeline in SalesForce.com

 

•            Develop and sustain a working knowledge of OpenText’s family of products and services

 

•            Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

 

What it takes:

•            Bachelor’s degree

 

•            3 + years’ of technology sales experience

 

•            Motivation, drive and a ‘hunter’ mentality

 

•            A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals

 

•            Demonstrated ability to interface persuasively with C Level executives and other sales professionals

 

•            Understanding of strategic, tactical and consultative selling processes

 

•            Experience with various levels of account management including Enterprise Account Management

 

•            Polished and professional written and verbal communication skills

 

•            Proven leadership and negotiating skills

 

•            Excellent organizational and documentation skills
