We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh Corporate & Commercial (C&C) Team. This role will be based in Shanghai / Guangzhou / Shenzhen. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is an entry-level position on the career path to becoming a Client Executive (CE). Responsible for maintaining and retaining existing clients and acquiring new logos. Provides service support to client advisors and sales representatives in the development and management of insurance brokerage and risk management accounts.
We will count on you to:
Manages routine client inquiries and transactions.With supervision, assists client advisors, client executives, and sales representatives in developing underwriting specifications, preparing proposals, insurance summaries, reports, and correspondence.Prepares and maintains client insurance summaries under the guidance of a client advisor or executive.Reviews policies and drafts recommendations for coverage.Coordinates and reviews billing and invoice materials and prepares invoices and certifications.Creates spreadsheets and other documents to support account analysis.Assists in preparing proposals for client presentations and participate in group presentations.Adheres to Marsh Professional Standards and guidelines.Ensures the quality of deliverables and enforces critical deadlines.Assists the Practice Leader in achieving the team’s financial budget.Completes additional tasks as assigned by the Practice Leader.What you need to have:
At least 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in insurance or risk management industry. 2-5 years related work experience is preferredBackground in finance, capital markets, or law is preferred.Possess developed insurance brokerage, account management and servicing skills and performs client executive duties within the local market placeBachelor’s degree in insurance or coming from financial/capital market/legal backgroundExcellent oral and communication skillsAssist higher-level client executives on complex accounts or tender accounts.Demonstrate proficiency in using company-approved email, word processing, and spreadsheet software, as well as in-house proprietary financial and sales-reporting systems, and internet navigation.Has an understanding of basic property/casualty insurance principals and basic understanding on claim handling/procedures.Why join our team:
