AssuredPartners of Missouri is seeking their next, Property & Casualty licensed, Senior Account Executive for our Commercial Lines Department in St. Louis, MO!
This role will be supporting clients with alternative financing arrangements such as captives, large deductibles or self-insured retentions. Many of the clients have complex program structures and international needs. This role will provide strategic and risk management advice.
The Senior Account Executive acts as the Subject Matter Expert on client support, providing advanced client support to a large and critical book of business and guiding other account service professionals in their work. The position requires independent judgment, a high level of expertise and advanced skill in developing client strategies. In accordance with the seniority of the role, the Senior Account Executive possess advanced skills including industry forecasting, carrier and industry relationship management, and advanced client retention strategies. The Senior Account Executive is able to effectively partner with Producers to drive new business.

Opportunity to collaborate on sales opportunities while gaining knowledge to become experts in field Provide mentorship and leadership to other team members, contributing to the growth and development of books of business Chance to grow and develop your sales and leadership skills What You'll Do Client SupportLead meetings with clients, including meetings at client locations.Responsible for providing comprehensive client support and act as main client contact for book of business.Effectively manage difficult client communications including loss of coverage, claimdenials, unfavorable underwriting and other challenging renewal scenarios.Account ManagementNegotiate and sell lines of insurance to clients to round out accounts as appropriate. May design insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned and directed by Agency management.Own all audit, review and claims processes for assigned book of business.Analyze data to draft client service plans, stewardship reports, and other meaningful reports tailored to the needs of the client and circumstances of the presentation.Insurance ExpertiseManage and develop strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel.Skilled at forecasting industry trends to predict needed changes in client strategies.Review changes in carrier offerings and policies and relay information to the larger service team.LeadershipMentor or formally direct the work of more junior team members including Account Coordinators, Account Managers, and Senior Account Managers.Facilitate and collaborate with account team on the agency’s renewal strategy.Client StrategyCreate complex risk-management strategies for accounts and other team members to attract and retain large client accounts.Partner with industry and carrier experts to deliver strategy and solution options to clients and the broader agency.Conduct book reviews to determine which accounts need an in-person risk assessment or client meeting to support agency retention.Other duties as assigned.Some travel may be required.
