The Sales Executive (SE) is the leading force that fuels growing customer relationships in the North American market. The SE is responsible for driving new client business within assigned territory and customer base to meet or exceed sales quota.
The SE will be responsible for uncovering whitespace opportunities, building relationships across all customer organizations, and educating key stakeholders within customer base. They need to be consistently growing their pipeline and closing new services and technology contracts. The SE will need to collaborate with internal resources to identify solutions and meet customer needs.
What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Generate leads for new business by creating demand for products/services with new customers and utilizing a variety of prospecting tools/digital techniques to support demand generation effortsConvert leads into new clients (new logos) through sales demonstrations and completing customer negotiations. Accountable for the business results including growth, margin, and profitabilityPerform cost-benefit/needs analyses, create proposals/solutions (including SOW), etc. to meet the needs of potential external customers (including defining new growth account plans and driving sales pursuits), and close sales. Achieve sales quotas within assigned areaIdentify and build relationships/effective partnerships with customers. Design and deliver value-added sales presentations (ie. brackets, 1-1s, power points, etc) to key decision-makers, industry experts, etc. Act as a liaison between customer and the company to resolve issues and close salesIdentify and build relationships/effective partnerships with internal key stakeholders/partners and internal resources (including Consulting, Marketing, Proposal Services, etc.)Maintain CRM (salesforce.com) including ensuring all data is complete/up to date/accurate. Ensure completion of order entry/invoicing/customer processes for all ongoing customer businessOther projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company Who You Are (Qualifications) Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum of 5+ years of related experience selling technology services to Fortune 1000 companiesExperience working with customer relationship management at multiple levels including VP/CIOExperience leading teams in a matrixed organization including experience in overseeing multi-delivery. Industry Knowledge of IT services and major OEM technologiesExcellent sales, account and delivery skills with relevant IT/Product categoriesExperience preparing, writing, creating, and delivering value-add sales solution presentations and proposalsAbility to navigate digital tools including social media platformsHistory of successfully selling into Fortune 1000 companies.Understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) service desk, dispatched services, life cycle services, Microsoft modern desktop, collaboration tools, and major OEM technologies and solutions.
