Job Description A Customer Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.The Key Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with strategic clients. The role involves overseeing a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to grow business within these accounts.
The Key Account Manager acts as the main point of contact between the company and the client, coordinating internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients
- Understand client business needs and align them with company offerings
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver service excellence
- Monitor account performance and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Prepare regular reports on account status and opportunities
- Upselling and cross-selling: Identify opportunities to expand the range of products or services provided to clients and work collaboratively with the sales team to generate new revenue streams. Present value propositions and benefits to clients to encourage upselling or cross-selling.
- Contract and agreement management: Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts and agreements with clients are in place, accurately maintained, and renewed as required. Understand contractual terms and conditions and ensure compliance with agreed-upon service level agreements.
- Continuous improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, market competition, and best practices in client relationship management. Proactively suggest and implement process improvements and strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
