About this opportunity:

Join our dynamic team at Ericsson as a Senior Account Manager and become an integral part of our proactive business development strategy. Drive strategy and business development, securing an outside- in view in enterprise and our telecom core business. Gaining insights to support setting strategic priorities and ensure strategy execution. This role is a fantastic chance to contribute to both Ericsson and our customers' successes.

 

What you will do:

•    Delivering in a leading business and strategy role
•    Engage with customer and promote Ericsson portfolio with value argumentation.
•    Mobilize and manage internal resources effectively to design and sell comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
•    Smoothly transition from sales to operations, ensuring seamless implementation and execution.
•    Innovatively create strategies that result in customer expansion and business growth. Actively engage in market analysis, understanding the current trends to guide business decisions.
•    Mitigate business risks through effective and strategic management practices
•    Develop strategic engagement for business development such as ICT forums, business councils, regulatory, chambers of commerce, and industry associations.
•    Knowledge of the global telecom market and its transformation is needed.
•    Ability to take a broad view of the market, identify exciting trends & opportunities, bring knowledge of market dynamics and market changes to the Leadership team.
•    Proven track record in analysis of market, industry, financial and competition, trends analysis and insight creation. Ability to coordinate with a multifaceted stakeholder map.
•    Contribute to the development and use of Ericsson-wide positions in the field of legislation, regulation and trade policy, and related standardization policy. Formulate necessary proposals for changes to positions.
•    Promote internal Ericsson understanding of policy and regulatory influencing, and support the development of Ericsson’s competence to act effectively

 

The skills you bring:

•    Deep domain expertise in the areas of Competitor Intelligence, Business development and Business intelligence. 
•    Extensive contact network inside and/or outside of the company. Good technology and portfolio understanding. 
•    Education: Master’s degree in business administration, Law, Marketing, Finance, Science or a similar area, or corresponding acquired skills/knowledge.
•    Outstanding English & Bahasa Malaysia communication skills and ability to build influential networks. 
•    Outstanding Relationship management & Networking skills, good in deciding & initiating action. 
•    Ability to identify and work on regulatory-induced business opportunities and constraints.
•    Strategic utilization of influencing and lobbying skills based on effective communication and active engagement.
•    Knowledge of the global telecom market and its transformation is needed. 
•    Ability to take a broad view of the market, identify exciting trends & opportunities, bring knowledge of market dynamics and market changes to the Leadership team. 
•    Consulting experience or approach is a definite attraction.
•    Participate in and contribute to Ericsson regional and global influencing networks.
