ImpactLife has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relations with community organizations. This position will be based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and will service Iowa and Johnson counties. This position will allow you to showcase your marketing, sales, territory management and relationship building skills while supporting our life saving mission. As a Senior Account Manager, your day may consist of speaking engagements with community groups, relationship development with an existing sponsor, territory development and blood drive promotion to new host groups, or networking with our community leaders. This is an exciting position that gives you creativity and the ability to make a difference! Not your typically sales job! What does it take to change the world? + Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered. + 3-5 years in successful sales role to include cold calling and new business and territory development is required. + Strong Communication and organizational skills. + Must be comfortable with public speaking and media relations experience is a plus. + Solid customer service experience and the ambition to motivate others. + Developed and proven experience in executing a value-based approach in new business obtainment. + Proven success in meeting performance quotas. + Previous experience working in account management is preferred. + Previous experience working in blood banking or on behalf of a nonprofit organization is a plus. + Be able to travel within the Blood Center territory and possess a valid driver's license as well as the ability to be insurable by ImpactLife. + Must be able to report to report to the Cedar Rapids office on a routine basis. Will spend most days working in the field with blood drive partners. May spend 1-2 days per week at home or in the ImpactLife office.
