Senior Account Manager (Email Program Manager)

**DESCRIPTION**
**The role: Email Program Manager**
We are looking for an organized, collaborative, and strategic Program Manager to join the email campaign team that is set to launch robust email programs across new and existing platforms for Android users. As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in establishing new and optimizing existing workflows, project managing the technical and creative process, helping the team stay organized with key tools and communication, and driving coordinated launch execution with cross-functional teams.
While the moment to moment tasks may seem mostly organizational, in the bigger picture we are looking for someone who **(1)** understands what it takes to build and operationalize new programs for global brands, **(2)** possesses a strong understanding of email marketing platforms and best practices, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and utilize new tools, **(3)** familiar with email operations, testing and measurement methodologies that yield key insights that matter to the business, and lastly **(4)** someone who can be a friendly diplomat to cross-functional teams as they help navigate timelines and dependencies while empowering a wide variety of team members to contribute and execute effective email campaigns.
**RESPONSABILITÉS**
Operations
Establishing and optimizing email workflows: Develop and document clear processes for email campaign development, execution, and analysis. Identify areas for efficiency and automation.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product marketing managers, agencies, engineering, and other teams to ensure alignment (tech roadmap, campaign timelines, etc) through to successful campaign execution.
Develop and maintain documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for email processes, tools, and best practices.
Proactively identify and resolve issues: Anticipate potential roadblocks and proactively address challenges to ensure smooth campaign execution. Lead retrospective conversations as needed to improve for the future.
Project Management
Oversee program progress: Own project timelines, manage resources, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery of email campaigns across our email programs.
Manage key timelines with agencies, and xfn stakeholders: Working closely with partner agencies and cross-functional stakeholders (product marketing managers, legal, engineering) maintain timelines and processes to ensure projects hit key milestones and land smooth launches.
Create and support key internal communications: In addition to general project management comms, also supporting development of informational decks, and executive decks for key stakeholders.
Maintain file organization: Organize and maintain folders, decks, assets and files for ease of access for the wider team.
Campaigns
Oversee email campaign execution: manage day-to-day operations of email campaigns in alignment with our email strategy, including content calendar management, content/creative development, cross-functional approvals, testing, and deployment. This also means assisting with communication across teams to keep next steps clear and the production on time.
Ensure brand consistency: Maintain brand integrity and ensure all emails adhere to brand identity guidelines.
Recap & Measurement
Support campaign testing, measurement, and analysis. Beyond campaign setup, guide as needed on testing/measurement to ensure alignment with our email strategy. Support with performance recaps, which may require collecting and analyzing metrics from cross functional teams. Ensure results are updates on key project comms (decks, emails).
Maintain program results reporting: In collaboration with cross functional teams, ensure centralized reporting of program’s campaigns and experiments against Android’s email strategy.
**LES QUALIFICATIONS**
ou must meet these minimum qualifications to apply for this job:
+ 5+ years of relevant experience, especially in email marketing (from ideation to execution, and analysis)
+ Understanding of email marketing platforms, technologies, and best practices (ie. Marketo)
+ Ability to understand measurement methodologies and setting up tests to yield valuable insights - why we need them and when to use them (A/B testing, Test/Control etc., Stat Sig results, Audience segmentation)
+ Highly organized, with very strong attention to detail
+ Experience planning and managing projects from start to finish
+ Experience and ability to work with and manage external agencies (expectations, timelines, updates, etc.)
+ Team player who can work well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt based on audience and/or communication channel(s)
+ Self-starter who can drive multiple projects spontaneously, jump in with strategic recommendations, is a collaborative thought leader, and is willing to step in to help as needed
+ Proactive in identifying gaps and providing solutions; comfortable working with ambiguity
**Preferred qualifications**
Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Google Workspace proficiency (preferred); at minimum, familiar with Office 365
+ Experience delivering global marketing programs
+ Demonstrated proficiency coordinating across large cross-functional teams and a multitude of stakeholders (from engineering, to marketing, and data teams)
+ Ability to and experience managing and drafting cross-functional team and stakeholder comms and updates (status notes, exec updates, newsletters, etc)
+ Strong analytical skills against metrics and KPIs
