As the Sr. Account Manager for Volvo and Geely (EMEA) at Emerson Test & Measurement (T&M), you drive profitable revenue growth by building strong relationships with key customers and effectively promoting and selling Emerson’s T&M products and services to meet their needs. You have a deep understanding of Volvo and Geely’s business and automotive market trends to ensure you can provide the best possible solutions to address their requirements. You effectively generate demand and identify new areas for business with highest growth potential.
Lead cross-functional teams to establish Emerson T&M as a trusted advisor to our customers. Your ability to think strategically and develop winning strategies will drive consistent growth. Moreover, you proactively develop and implement tactics to improve our customers’ perception of Emerson T&M within Volvo and Geely.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Develop and implement innovative, winning strategies and account plans that consistently drive outstanding account growth. Grow influence and respect within Volvo, Geely and Emerson T&M through leading a coordinated strategy and company-wide execution for mutual benefit and success Expand horizons through identifying, developing, and maintaining influential senior-level relationships within Volvo and Geely which are readily accessible and agreeable to transparent discussions Develop and demonstrate leadership through appropriate executive alignment between Emerson T&M & Volvo/Geely while coaching relationships on both sides, facilitate sustained executive level relationships Proactively build strategies in partnership with Transportation Business Unit and Emerson T&M Partners to enhance serviceable account opportunities and increase market penetration Drive personal and account team growth by accurately identifying and applying Emerson T&M's strengths. Build compelling visions that prompt action from internal and external decision-makers, delivering on customer's central initiatives. Coach, develop, and celebrate success with indirect reports and credit team effortsWho You Are: You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You achieve and are consistently known as a top performer.
For This Role, You Will Need: 8+ years’ experience in business-to-business high tech sales or similar customer facing roles Located within commuting distance to Gothenburg Expertise in selling electronic Test & Measurement products, systems, and solutions into large named accounts in Automotive Proven track record of delivering revenue growth year-on-year Expertise in leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, R&D) Track record in account development and complex sales opportunity management Proven track record of large complex account management and execution at both the tactical and strategic level Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from an accredited university, major in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science preferred Proficient in spoken and written English
