About the role:
As our Senior Account Manager - Technical, you will work with food and beverage manufacturers in the metro-Sydney region, to enhance operational efficiency, food safety and product quality. You will utilise the vast resources of Ecolab to tailor cleaning and sanitising programs, understand operational efficiency objectives and help reduce the total cost of operations for our customers.
In this role you will:
Serve as the technical contact for predominantly food & beverage customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Work with your customers to identify, develop and execute projects that will improve and provide savings to your customer’s operations.
Be an advocate for innovation by identifying and merchandising opportunities to implement innovation in your customer’s business.
Develop and share expertise in sanitation process and related technologies
Be the technical go-to for the NSW team assisting with complex enquiries in areas
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer sites to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers and the NSW team, providing guidance on best practices, product usage, and industry trends.
Track and analyse key performance metrics to measure account health and identify areas for improvement.
Attend and present at regular business review meetings with your customers
Critical to the role will be your energy and ability to drive operational savings and innovation opportunities in your customer accounts. Coupled with a tremendous amount of technical knowledge, excelling at identifying and seizing opportunities for Ecolab’s products within the dairy, brewing, beverage, protein and food processing industries.
Our preferred candidate may have:
A background in chemistry or chemical sales advantageous
Experience with CIPs and CIP verifications advantageous
Experience in either dairy, brewing, beverage, protein or food processing industries
Ability to facilitate clear and open dialogue with diverse stakeholders at site level and above.
Presents information in a way that makes it easy for others to understand & can adapt presentation style/content to the needs of the audience.
Appears polished, professional, and confident during customer interactions
Strong ability to solve problems and interpret data
Ability to work autonomously and is hungry to learn!
This role will require travel and may include overnight stays.
