**The Role:**
The Senior Account Specialist sells products and/or services to customers through a variety of mediums and acts as point of contact post-sale, focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing the business. Maintains relationships with accounts through ongoing client contact and support. Closes sales within territory, defined by geographic area, industry, or product/service group. Responds to client inquiries and offers bold recommendations on appropriate products and services. Must work with a sense of urgency to execute sales strategy, generate sales reports, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met. May work in tandem with outside sales team to achieve sales goals and revenue targets.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business
+ Creates and delivers quotes and proposals to deliver to customers
+ Ensures customer satisfaction and retention
+ Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting
+ Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner
+ Mentors and develops less senior Account Specialists
+ Sells complex products / services; utilizes knowledge of products / services and industry to evaluate and recommend best solutions to customers
+ Strategic sales process; established base of accounts and stable revenue responsibility
+ May utilize knowledge of industry to recommend updates or changes to product / service offering
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
+ 6+ years of experience sales and account management
+ Strong communication skills
+ Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
+ Highly skilled at sales techniques and strong understanding of company products and services
+ Comprehensive knowledge within area of specialization
+ Ability to complete sales with little to no supervision
+ Demonstrates strong ability to identify and cultivate sales from new &/or existing customers
+ Ability to provide superior customer service.
+ Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
