Senior Accountant, Global Fixed Assets

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The role will perform various fixed assets accounting functions and oversight as well as support for corporate and financial reporting.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform the Company’s regular Fixed Assets (FA) accounting and compliance work.Perform the Fixed Assets month-end close process by ensuring proper cut-off, reconciling accounts and analyzing changes in the balance sheet & profit and loss statements (related to FA) within given time frame.Perform various aspects of the balance sheet and P&L in accordance with IFRS, U.S. GAAP.Prepare FA accounts variance analysis for entity review.Perform monthly FA closing activities and generate relevant Oracle Fusion reports.Coordinate monthly close & perform finance shared service accounting activities and processes according to established SLA with all entities.Support internal and external US GAAP, local GAAP audit & SOX audit.Liaise with Auditor on interim/yearly audit within the corporate reporting calendar.Support any ad hoc or process improvement projects when necessary.Prepare Fixed Assets accounts & reconciliations, including daily transactions maintenance.Develop schedules and analyses to support quarterly reviews and annual audit.Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety standards, rules and regulations.Performs other duties may be assigned.RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSGraduate of BS Accountancy, preferably CPA.Minimum 2-3 years working experience in accounting/finance and related activities.Prior work experience in a shared service is preferred.Experience in Oracle ERP system is a plus.Exposure to SOX environment is desired.Possess a high level of integrity & accountability.Ability to work independently with good analytical skill and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize and work under tight timelines.Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel is a must.Good written and communication skills in English and ability to work in a diverse culture.#LI-RemoteOTHER PERTINENT INFORMATIONLocation: ROHQThis is an FTE position.Applicants must be willing to work in Binan Laguna.Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the Philippines.Applicants must be willing to render overtime as business requires (weekends, US/PH holidays).Applicants must be flexible to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region.Willingness to travel and occasionally work off hours during certain audits (due to time zone differences).Tool of Trade: Laptop/Desktop, Extended Monitor, Headset (as needed).Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and underrepresented minorities are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification.
