SUMMARY OF ROLE
SunPower is seeking a Senior Accountant for PCard Audit to provide various administrative and analytical support specifically in day-to-day operations, process improvement, analysis and review of various credit card transactions and payments, issue and resolution of inquiries related to credit card expenses and charges, implementation and update of credit card policies, reporting of audit findings and other related process. The Senior Accountant reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform detailed review of expense reports and assess compliance based on company PCard policiesEnsure credit card expense and charges are audited in a timely manner according to SLAAddress inquiries and resolve issues and concerns related to credit card expense and charges together with PCard custodianConsolidate and prepare necessary reports and presentation for any audit results and findings in the review of credit card expense and chargesCommunicate and coordinate with various internal and external groups for matters related to credit card expense and charges for any updates on policies and other considerationsMay assist in the preparation of Accounts Payable accrual entries and other payable related adjustmentsMay assist in the preparation of account reconciliations and investigation of outstanding reconciling itemsAssist in providing audit requirementsMay interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. Ensures compliance to SOX Procedure in daily activitiesComply at all times to the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulationsPerforms other duties may be assignedRELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSGraduate of BS Accountancy or other related coursesMinimum 3-4 years working experience in accounting/finance and related to Accounts Payable or GL activities.
