Due to our firm's continuous growth, we are currently seeking very experienced tax accounting professionals at the Senior level for our growing Tax team. As part of our talented team of tax accountants, you will be contributing to the overall successful completion of tax engagements.  At The Bonadio Group we pride ourselves on developing quality-focused tax professionals who have the opportunity to continually learn, develop, and grow into well-rounded trusted advisors.  You will have the opportunity to build strong professional relationships with clients, work in diverse client-service environments, effectively communicate and assist our clients in developing strategies to best service their business needs.  

Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns.Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.Ability to identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions.Assist with the developing, training and mentoring of staff and interns.Have initiative to learn new tax skills the diverse client base at The Bonadio Group can offer including but not limited to: public company tax services, banking and financial industry tax services, energy industries, and moreWork on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.Develop effective working relationships with internal and external clients.Assist with development and retention of clients, including the ability to cross-sell services.Assist clients with special projects such as budgeting and cash flow projections, tax planning and sales tax.Deliver projects/engagements on time, within budget and to client's satisfaction.

Required:

A minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting and pursuit or completion of 150 credit hours  A minimum of three years of relevant Tax experienceRecent experience working in public accountingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite inclusive of Outlook

Preferred:

CPA certification  Active within professional and community organizationsExperience with Axcess softwarePrior bookkeeping experience inclusive of QuickBooks

Hours of Operation:

Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through FridayOur summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday  We pride ourselves on flexibility, but the ability to work additional hours during peak times will be required
