Senior Accountant (12 month contract)

Who is the Senior Accountant (12 month contract)? 

 

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and contributing to the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports. If you have a strong background in accounting, attention to detail, and a cooperative attitude, we encourage you to apply. 

 

You will report to the Accounting Manager and work together with cross-functional team. 

 

Key Duties: 

 

Manage day-to-day and monthly accounting transactions and monthly closing procedures, ensuring reliability and accuracy in accordance with IFRS standards. 

Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements. 

Generate monthly management reports and conduct cost analysis (e.g., P&L analysis). 

Maintain and update records for fixed asset accounting and management property lists. 

Handle various tax declarations, such as business tax and business income tax. 

Compile various withholding declaration adjustment tables. 

Support annual audits and ensure documentation is available for audit upon request. 

Provide support for other projects and tasks assigned by Manager. 

 

Here’s what you’ll bring to the team: 

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Accounting/Finance. 

Prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm is desirable. 

Proficiency in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. 

Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 

In-depth understanding of banking operations, local taxation, and reconciliations. 

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. 

Strong team player with the ability to work independently. 

Self-motivated individual with exceptional problem-solving skills. 

Ability and desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment. 

Proactive, independent, patient, with ability to work to a tight schedule under pressure with high degree of accuracy. 

Fluency in English is preferred.
