This Senior Accountant role will be primarily focused on the accounting month end close cycle to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.   As part of a dynamic Finance team, the Senior Accountant will also support periodic financial planning and analysis.\r\n

Key Responsibilities Include:\r\nMonth-end Close: Performs month-end procedures including GL entries, account reconciliations, production of financial statements and lender covenant reports, and preparation of monthly internal reporting packages.\r\nBanking: Supports the accurate recording and reconciliation of daily banking activities including setting up payments and bank transfers. \r\nReporting and analysis: Supports the annual budgeting process and ad-hoc requests as required, particularly in relation to potential business opportunities that may include M&A transactions. \r\nAudit and Compliance: Ensures the maintenance of organized and accurate supporting documentation throughout the year for both internal control and to support external audits.\r\nPublic Company: supports the preparation of quarterly financial disclosure documents (financial statements, MD&A, and other requirements as necessary). \r\n\r\n
