Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will apply GAAP, SEC regulations, and company policies. You will lead special projects, conduct research, analyze, and report on various issues. Additionally, you will provide guidance to team members, ensuring accounting integrity through robust internal controls.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial reports in compliance with GAAP.Independently prepare schedules and journal entries.Manage accounting for pension, post-retirement benefits, medical expenses, and severance.Record earnings for special use funds and prepare disclosures.Handle investments, record equity in earnings, and reconcile capital statements.Utilize the SAP ERP system for accounting duties.Essential SkillsExtensive knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and SEC regulations.Proficiency in reporting, reconciliation, and journal entry preparation.Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.Technical accounting knowledge.Experience with SAP ERP systems.Knowledge of general ledger, fixed assets, and month-end processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting.4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.CPA, CMA, MBA, or Master's in Accounting preferred.Strong communication skills.Ability to learn SEC regulations and compliance standards.Work Environment

You will work a standard shift from 8 AM to 5 PM onsite in Juno Beach.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
