Delaware North is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a Senior Accountant on the financial reporting team, you will support preparation and review of monthly accounting close process at the parent level, contractual reporting compliance and annual external audit of the business. Pay

Minimum \u2013 Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $76,800 - $96,700 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?Coordinate with financial reporting, unit, and subsidiary management in the preparation and review of monthly financial results and annual financial statements Execute strategies and standards\u202frelated to accounting policy, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, and financial systems and controls. Support the management of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes Coordinate annual plan and projection process, provide insightful review of year-over-year changes, and recommend areas of focus to improve operating margins Research accounting literature to determine the appropriate accounting treatment for transactions as they arise 

More about youBachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or finance required Minimum of 3 years of experience in a general accounting role; large multi-national company or hospitality industry experience is a plus Solid understanding of GAAP and expertise in driving continuous improvement and business process management Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general ERP experience Certified Public Accountant or intent to obtain CPA a plus
