Description Management Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract to full time hire opportunity in Irving. This is working a hybrid schedule. The Senior Accountant will be detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of GAAP principles, heavy general ledger experience, and a proven ability to optimize month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll accounting, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, property tax filings, and financial audits. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and improving efficiencies across multiple business units. Requirements + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting + 5+ years of general ledger experience in a complex, multi-entity environment. + Strong GAAP knowledge with the ability to explain findings and decisions clearly. + Experience working with third-party vendors for payroll, tax, and reporting improvements. + Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
