Senior Accountant
Job Title: Sr. Accountant Job Description The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for producing financial statements for multiple business units and overseeing department processes. This role provides analysis and support for organizational financials while identifying areas for increased efficiency and transparency. Additionally, the role serves as a backup within the finance and accounting department, heavily involving accounting and finance functions. Responsibilities + Prepare monthly financial statements for various entities. + Manage all aspects of the general ledger. + Work directly with the management team and entity shareholders to provide reliable financial reporting and assist in making sound financial decisions. + Communicate monthly financial statements to management and investors. + Organize financial information for external auditors and annual tax returns. + Review cash status reports and manage cash flow. + Provide assistance in preparing financial models. + Analyze and interpret financial trends to determine which items require management's attention. + Collect and analyze data necessary for financial reports and other requested projects. + Analyze financial procedures to recommend and implement improvements. + Track and manage the company's fixed assets. + Oversee department processes and employee training, recommending improvements to enhance efficiencies. + Handle ad hoc projects and filings. Essential Skills + Proficiency in accounting, month-end processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and budgeting. + Experience in financial reporting and construction accounting. + Proficient use of Sage 50 and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or equivalent experience. + CPA designation is preferred. + Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred. + Experience with job cost analysis is a plus. Work Environment The work schedule is primarily office-based, with potential hybrid work options available after 12 months of training. Hybrid employees typically work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, disability, and 401(k) plans. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
