Senior Accountant
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Los Angeles, California. This dynamic role calls for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to evolving situations within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes while demonstrating a proactive and independent work style. Responsibilities: • Manage general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Perform month-end close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries. • Reconcile accounts, including cash reconciliations, to maintain financial accuracy. • Provide detailed support for file documentation and financial reports. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and precise financial reporting. • Utilize Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems to execute accounting tasks efficiently. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records and processes. • Support audits and compliance reviews by preparing necessary documentation. • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for decision-making. • Maintain and improve accounting procedures to align with best practices. Requirements • At least 7 years of experience in accounting or a related field. • Proven expertise in general ledger management and month-end close activities. • Strong proficiency in account reconciliations, including cash reconciliations. • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
