Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Reston, VA. Key Responsibilities: * Senior Accountant will oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes * Perform month-end and year-end close processes * Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports * Conduct account reconciliations and analysis * Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements * As a Senior Accountant, you will assist with audits and special projects as needed * Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, including the use of spreadsheets and VLOOKUP's * Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
