Position Summary
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will help lead and support the team, assist on various client accounting services, ensure projects are completed on time, and strengthen client relationships through effective communication and problem solving.
What will you do in this role?
Reconciles payroll and cash disbursement accounts on a daily basisBalances weekly payroll entriesMaintain company’s fixed assets recordsCompile and post journal entries Assist with and review financial statementsCorrespond with team members regarding status of journal entries and other inquiriesComplete monthly closing procedures to guarantee timely reportingExperience with year end close procedures and preparation of audit and tax formsWork on a variety of different accounting projects as requestedDevelop self and others through seeking and offering on the job coaching and engagement experiencesDevelop and maintain productive working relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfactionDeliver exceptional client support virtually and onsite per client basis
What do you need to succeed in this role?
BA/BS Degree in AccountingExperience working with Non-Profit Accounting preferredExperience reconciling cash accountsExperience with Accounting Software preferred5+ years of accounting experience in public accountingProficiency with computerized accounting softwareStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAttention to detail and accuracyStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup function)Excellent verbal and written skills

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $94,900. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
