Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with an international specialty chemicals manufacturer. The company makes speciality chemicals into a number of markets such as Plastics, Coatings and Lubricants.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant Manager based from their regional US HQ in Friendswood, Texas.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Preparing schedules required to complete month end close and reporting processesPreparing monthly general ledger intercompany reconcilements for companiesPreparing monthly ledger and bank statements reconcilementsPreparing Travel and Entertainment / Expense card reconcilementsPreparation of monthly finance packages and deviation analysisSupport internal and statutory auditsSupport the budget processSupport regulatory compliance reporting requirements Assist with special projects and additional tasks, as requested.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance rolesBachelor’s in AccountingStrong knowledge in GAAP and/or IFRSStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsHighly driven for time sensitive projects
