ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

Responsible for producing the monthly financial accounting package (within the Corporate published deadlines), including manufacturing KPI’s according to US GAAP rulesPerform Balance sheet and P&L analysis, monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations including Payroll, Inventory, accruals & VAT and post the associated journalsAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts throughout the year, ability to work cross functionally with department heads and non-financial leaders in the organizationItem/Cost Maintenance for Bills of Material and Routings and assisting in the annual std cost update processWork order closing and analyze daily inventory transactions; explain manufacturing variances by reviewing work orders, and work with production supervisors to understand manufacturing yieldAssist in the physical inventory count process/ aid in development and implementation of cycle count processPreparation of E&O provision using good judgmentLiaising with BPO on AP, AR, Cash Mgt, Interco, SOX and Fixed Assets transactionsReview Internal Control procedures (for SOX compliance) and assist with internal and external auditsFirst point of contact for the external auditors, prepare the local Statutory accounts and assist in the preparation of the annual Corporation Tax computations.Other duties as requested

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position:

A qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualification experienceA good knowledge of SOX and US GAAPA good systems background in Oracle would be advantageous

MS Office Suite – Advance Level

Good interpersonal skills with experience of working in a diverse environment
