ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist District Controller in all financial aspects of the West division of approximately $55 million annual sales Manage the accurate and timely generation and submission of all sales invoices and monitor subsequent accounts receivable collection Track region wide spending through the Purchase Order process including the review and approval of all accounts payable Prepare month end sales and expense accruals as part of monthly close process Review weekly cost analysis reports and payroll for accuracy Reconcile A/R payments from vendors for proper cash application Prepare all weekly and monthly operational reports for distribution and review with management Assist in the preparation of monthly detailed financial forecasts Travel to field offices to review operations and operational reports with local management Work with Controller to maintain and review all general ledger accounts and month end accruals Assist in the preparation of monthly system financial statements for review, while being able to explain changes in revenue and expense accounts Other responsibilities as assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a minimum of 4 years equivalent experience required In depth knowledge of Profit & Loss, budgeting and financial analysis Effective oral and written communication skills Advance working experience in Microsoft and Google Ability to compose effective and efficient reports and correspondence Self-starter with strong organizational and problem solving skills Hybrid position with at least 2 days in the Sumner, WA office per week Flexible team player, willing to travel when needed LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. REASONING ABILITY Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to analyze and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines. Working regular hours and extended hours, especially during peak seasons. Work performed in an office setting.
