Senior Accountant Details:

Contract position$30.00 to $40.00 /annuallyFirst ShiftProject data clean-up and standardizationMonth-close reconciliations and journal entries Research and digitizing projectsBackup AR (billing, deposits, collections)Backup AP (vouchers, payments, costing)Balance Sheet review and reconciliationParticipate in the development and completion of special projects as assigned.Manage vendor and customer relationships with urgency and efficiency.Analyze and resolve issues and concerns quickly, escalating when necessary.Directly responsible for all cash accounts; reconciling statements monthly, overseeing daily deposits, and handling high-level issues.Manage weekly and monthly financial and cash reporting.Preparation, execution, reporting, and general ledger entries of payroll bi-weekly.

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

Clear understanding of GAAP financial statements.Ability to apply finance and accounting knowledge in performing daily activities.Requires a detail-oriented person who enjoys working on all areas of accounting for a service company.Must have strong Microsoft Office skills including the ability to develop sophisticated spreadsheets which include advanced interactive functions such as macros/pivot tables or other advanced formulas.Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form and to collaborate and build positive rapport with all levels of staff and management across functional areas.Responsive, organized, and detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Capable of working independently, with minimal supervision.Knowledge of the construction industry (ideally HVAC construction)History of using ServiceTitan (an industry-specific ERP)
