Senior Accountant
General Accounting: Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Ensure accurate and timely execution of month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. Financial Reporting: Analyze and review financial reports; ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements are in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS). Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the preparation of budget forecasts and perform variance analysis and cash flow projections. Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial performance metrics to management. Accounts Payable Management: Take full responsibility for the accounts payable process, ensuring all vendor bills are processed and paid in accordance with company policies and contractual terms. Monitor and analyze accounts to ensure payments are up to date, and resolve any discrepancies or disputes in collaboration with vendors. Develop and maintain a systematic method for tracking and reporting on payables, including regular aging reports to manage cash flow effectively. Oversee the computation and filing of withholding taxes for vendor payments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Tax Compliance: Oversee compliance with all Philippine tax regulations. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as necessary. Supervision and Process Improvement: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations. Internal Controls: Maintain rigorous internal controls and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Ensure all accounting processes meet regulatory requirements and internal standards. Audit and Reconciliation Coordination: Manage and facilitate both internal and external audits. Take charge of all reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy across all financial documentation. Take responsibility for overseeing the reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis. Vendor & Client Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely settlements and resolve discrepancies. Oversee and optimize client billing processes, including invoicing and collections, to secure timely payments.
