Reporting to the Sr Manager, Accounting, the successful candidate for this position will be an integral member of the gross-to-net revenue accounting team. This position is responsible for month end close journal entries, preparation of account reconciliations and analysis, and the review of financial information related to revenue accounting, with an emphasis on revenue deductions (gross-to-net or “GTN”). **major areas of responsibility** + Record journal entries and prepare account reconciliations for gross-to-net deductions for branded and generic products, as assigned, + Chargebacks + Managed Care Commercial and Medicare Part D rebates, + Patient Rebates (Coupons), and + Medicaid and other government rebates + Product Sales Return Reserves + Calculate and reconcile distribution service agreements and trade distribution fee accruals and prepare related account analysis and review + Support the product sales returns reserve accrual by calculating product returns models and annual returns sampling exercise + Ensure adherence to month end close due dates and other corporate reporting deadlines + Provide analytical, accounting and reporting support to assigned responsibilities, including monthly fluctuation variance explanations of actuals vs. actual/plan/forecast + Responsible for SOX compliance related to the above duties and assist with the quarterly and annual financial and SOX404 certification **Other duties** + Prepare ad hoc requests, and/or participate in special projects, as assigned.
