About the Role:
Collective is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to help build a world class finance & accounting team! As the second hire in the finance department, this will be a foundational role that will help the company scale efficiently and set the company's finance departme nt for success in the future. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a role that is both operational, but also strategic as we are constantly thinking about how to shape and set goals for the finance department.
⚒️ Responsibilities:
Ownership of key accounting functions which includes month end close reconciliations, our accounts payable process, and administration of our expense management platform Review month end reconciliations, expense accruals and other accounts as part of our close process Work closely with the Controller to help draft and propose accounting policies and procedures to help scale the department and company Partner cross-functionally with other departments to execute on company wide initiatives and be able to think through ways to improve on processes Assist in the administration of our financial operations softwares such as QBO, Ramp, Stripe, etc. Support in ad hoc projects and be able to work collaboratively within finance and other departments.
