Senior Accountant
Responsibilities: + Enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger monthly, and prepare related reports. + Perform account analysis to verify the accuracy of journal entries and balances. + Reconcile accounts with the general ledger. + Documentation and Recordkeeping: Gather supporting documentation and maintain accurate records. + Conduct audits on financial data to ensure accuracy. + Work with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information. + Ensure adherence to proper accounting policies and principles in accordance with GAAP. + Adjust to changing priorities and manage workload to achieve timely and accurate results. + Provide backup support to FP&A, reporting, tax, and operations as needed. + Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating attention to detail and self-direction. Qualifications: + Understanding of construction accounting procedures. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. + Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and manage multiple projects. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members. Write and present information to top management, public groups, and boards of directors. + Handle sensitive, complex, and confidential information, often involving policy discussions, proposals, negotiations, and solicitations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00 Company benefits include full health, dental, medical, 401k - this position would be eligible for bonus opportunities depending on the performance of the company and individual Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Jackson,WI.
