Senior Accountant•\tOverviewMastercard Technology Private Limited, a Mastercard company is a leading provider of technology services to financial institutions.
•\tSouth Asia Controllership team manages statutory financial reporting and tax compliance for all entities within South Asia.
•\tThis job will require the incumbent to manage statutory and tax compliance across multiple entities within the Market

Role
• \tServe as the key point of contact on statutory compliance for SA Controller, regional controller
and Corporate Accounting for select entities within the Market for designated entities
•\tManage all non-tax compliances such as FEMA, STPI, MSMED, Negotiable instruments Act, Statistical reporting for legal entities
•\tManage /coordinate with vendor to ensure compliance with respect to outsourced activities.
•\tEnsure consistent approach and application of accounting principles across all entities
•\tCoordinate training with vendor and GBSC PUN / US on upcoming regulations/ impacts to accounting processes and setups
•\tParticipate in review meetings with Regional controller
•\tSupport in internal/ external audits
•\tManage tax forecast preparation, tax inquiries and supports tax calculations
•\tManage ad-hoc projects and process improvement projects
•\tAll About You
•\tStrong knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices (working knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS; expertise in iGAAP)
•\tBachelor’s degree required, CA required
•\tOracle Financials experience preferred
•\tPrevious experience working in a Corporate Finance role preferred
•\tStrong organizational skills required to manage multiple, concurrent tasks
•\tTeam player, problem solver and solution-seeking approach
