Description
Our client is seeking an innovative, Senior Financial Analyst to assist with multiple projects around efficiency and process improvement! You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, assisting with reconciliation, and supporting the Controller with special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting by conducting thorough checks and balances
• Dive deep into financials to identify and correct any discrepancies
• Assist with reconciliation efforts to keep financial records accurate and up-to-date
• Develop and implement KPIs to measure financial performance
• Create dashboards for senior management to provide key financial insights
• Support the Controller in special projects as and when required
• Utilize business systems and CRM to streamline accounting functions
• Apply auditing practices to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Participate in budget processes and capital management initiatives
• Leverage data mining techniques for comprehensive financial analysis.
Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in business systems
• Experience in using Confluence
• Mastery of CRM software
• Skilled in Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of data mining techniques
• Familiarity with 'About Time' software
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions
• Experience in auditing
• Proficiency in budget processes
• Experience in capital management
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in the education or university industry is beneficial.
