At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **Prepare journal entries and perform general account analysis and reconciliation** **Identify and analyze reconciling items between the general ledger and supporting details, and follow through on the clearing of these items.** **Assist in the preparation of financial statements** **Support period-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.** **Responsible for accounting for lessee leases under ASC 842** **Ability to research technical accounting guidance and ensure appropriate application** **Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP) and internal controls.** **Supports other functional areas by providing requested data, answering accounting questions, participating in cross functional teams and provides training as appropriate.** **Seeks process improvements and problem resolution in all aspects of the job function.** **Special projects as needed, including ERP implementation/testing** **Responsible for global (Australia, New Zealand) accounting, GL accounts and transactions, audit request, maintaining controls, etc** **Performs other duties as assigned.** **Education and Experience** **A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required** **4+ years’ related experience in a large corporation or public accounting, or combination** **In-depth understanding of US GAAP** **CPA or CPA candidate preferred** **Experience in ERP transition and implementation preferred** **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** **Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment** **Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.** **Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills** **Ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines** **Excellent verbal and written communication skills** **Strong analytical skills** **Strong attention to detail and accuracy** **Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle a plus, but not required).** **Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel (i.e. pivots, vlookups), Outlook and PowerPoint** **Will there be notable travel in this position?
