Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this job is to perform a variety of complex accounting tasks as staff accountant with financial analysis responsibility. Performs a variety of independent accounting tasks as part of the financial close, analysis and budgeting functions. May supervise other associates.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Performs procedures that help to ensure the accounting records are maintained in full compliance with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Responsible for the compilation and consolidation of all accounting data required for the monthly closing.
• Has higher-level rights within Oracle and supports Oracle reconciliations, reporting and budgeting functions.
• Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of various accounting reports, schedules and analyses for Finance management.
• Responsible for the reconciliation of bank accounts, general ledger accounts and other sub-ledgers as appropriate.
• Responsible for maintaining standard trial balances, making proper entries and interpreting reports containing financial information.
• Researches and analyzes accounts in order to provide answers to accounting related inquiries made by others.
• Assists and prepares presentation material in PowerPoint or other software for senior management.
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting functional areas of the organization as well as providing budgeting support to plant controllers.
• Reviews source documents as required making proper accounting determination.
• Performs other functions as required.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years experience in an accounting role with a preference for experience within an ERP manufacturing environment.
Specialized Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of GAAP. Strong computer skills.
Special Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Senior Accountant Salary: $57,000- $83,600
