Senior Accountant
Senior Accountant Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing monthly journal entries for Digital revenue activity, ensuring all activity in assigned accounts is appropriately documented, recorded timely and accurately, and presented in accordance with GAAP in our financial statements. You will also prepare documentation for external and internal auditors, maintain strong financial controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and assist in coordination with external auditors and the internal audit team. Responsibilities + Prepare monthly journal entries for Digital revenue activity ensuring all activity in assigned accounts is documented, recorded timely and accurately, and presented in accordance with GAAP. + Prepare documentation for external and internal auditors while maintaining strong financial controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. + Conduct accounting functions such as journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. + Assist in contract review to determine appropriate accounting treatment and ensure fulfillment of related reporting and invoicing requirements. + Resolve issues and answer questions in a high-paced environment in a timely manner. + Assist with tax and audit requests and other ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from business units. + Assist FP&A in monthly revenue analysis as needed. + Support management in completing special projects and other tasks as assigned. Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance + Minimum 2-3 years experience at a public accounting firm or equivalent + Experience with general ledger and reconciliation + Experience with cash application + Experience in FP&A + Strong accounting knowledge Work Environment + This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. + During the training period, more time in the office is expected to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
