Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our diverse team. The Senior Accountant is a key position within the Finance Community and is responsible for general ledger processes, fixed asset accounting and validation and analysis of financial results for multiple locations.  The Senior Accountant partners with local, regional and global Finance colleagues to ensure an accurate and timely month-end close. You will work closely with a broad range of employees within all levels of the organization on continuous improvement and other relevant projects.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Overseeing the financial operations of the company Managing the company's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This includes ensuring that the company is operating within its financial means, identifying areas for cost-saving measures, and making strategic financial decisions to help the company achieve its goals. Take active role in preparing and executing the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP HANA (One ERP) Responsible for statutory compliance matters. Take active role in coordinating and working collaboration with Share Service Center in India (account payable, account receivable, and general ledger)   Ensuring all the statutory reporting is submitted on time e.g. CIT, PIT, VAT, WHT, etc. Preparing tax reconciliation   Maintenance of local set of books as per local accounting standard Financial analysis and control, ensuring compliance with company and local standards. Regular monitoring of Concur claim compliance. Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting Have minimum 5 years working experience including in the field of taxation and accounting Excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able work effectively in a fast-paced environment Great English communication is a must SAP knowledge Candidate able to work independently with minimum supervision.
