What We Value: + Honesty & Integrity + Service & Excellence + Collaboration & Teamwork + Family & Community + Dependability & Loyalty + Compassion Roles and Responsibilities: + Bank reconciliations + Participate in month end close, including journal entries & balance sheet reconciliations. + Financial reporting analysis. + Assist with tracking & compiling business metric data for internal analysis, identify actionable insights and make recommendations where applicable. + Assist in responding to annual audits, performed throughout the year. + Collaborate with other departments to research & resolve accounting and inventory related discrepancies. + Manage records retained in compliance with company and regulatory policies & requirements. + Maintain knowledge of accounts payable & accounts receivable, provide backup support as needed. + Participate in projects assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. + 2+ years of experience in accounting. + Proven history of demonstrating a solid understanding of general accounting, excellent analytical skills, and financial acumen. + Able to apply critical thinking skills to identify, perform research to establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, while being intuitive and having the ability to apply concepts across various areas of the company. + Strong attention to detail. + Organized with the ability to prioritize job tasks. + Strong technology skills - Excel, Word, Outlook. + Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to communicate with fellow associates, management, outside agencies and vendors. Preferred Skills + CMA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required. + Experience using Power BI.
