We are seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant to manage key accounting functions for one of our clients, including month-end close, financial reporting, and audit compliance, while leading a Staff Accountant and driving process improvements. This hands-on role requires Workday General Ledger expertise and experience with revenue analysis, cash management, and accounts receivable (AR). Ideal candidates are detail-oriented professionals ready to enhance accounting operations and deliver high-quality financial results. This opportunity requires an onsite presence, five days a week, at the client's location near The Battery in Atlanta + Support month-end close process, including maintaining the general ledger and sub-ledgers, review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as, analyze account variances + Communicate and follow up with business partners to ensure that open/outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner + Ensure appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP + Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly reports, review policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance + Identify possible process improvements and/or system enhancements + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required + CPA certification is preferred + 3 – 7 years of related experience + Extensive hands-on experience with Workday General Ledger + Strong knowledge of US GAAP + Experience with large ERP systems and strong MS Office technical skills, specifically with MS Excel + Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills, with a strong orientation to client service, time management, and project delivery + Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite. + Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors. + Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase plan, Professional development program, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required) + An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies, and qualities that set our team apart.
