Senior Accountant (Location: CBD Melbourne, Full-Time)
We will count on you to:
Prepare year-end Company statutory financial statements and assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related note disclosures in accordance with relevant accounting standards.Liaise with external auditors to ensure annual audit requirements are met and assist in the preparation of technical accounting analysis of transactions.Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor compliance with relevant entities’ Financial Services Licenses (AFSL).Review and analyze trial balances to ensure accurate recording and movement in balances, and partner with MMC Accounting Operations hub for timely management reporting.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in accounting processes and assist in the preparation of tax provision calculations in accordance with US GAAP.What you need to have:
Minimum 3 years of general accounting experience or professional services experience in the Financial Services Industry.CA / CPA qualified with a Degree in Commerce or Accounting or equivalent.Proven experience in the preparation and review of audit or financial statements.Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Hands-on experience managing a diverse set of stakeholders, including senior management.What makes you stand out:
