Job Overview

As a Senior Property Accountant, you will ensure all transactions related to your portfolio of Taxable REIT Subsidiary (TRS) entities and their underlying properties are recorded accurately and reported on a timely basis.  

Roles You Will Play

The Closer

Post monthly and annual close activities for a portfolio of TRS entities and their underlying properties, including the preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash account reconciliationsThoroughly review all financials and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting

The Task Master

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure financials are in adherence to REIT complianceIdentify areas in which training is needed to promote positive performance behaviors and then collaborate with the REIT Compliance team to develop the training materialsAssist the Assistant Property Controller with various ad hoc requests and projects as identified by upper management
